Colin's Column
Design: Colin
Coding: mace
Colin's new weblog! Essentially a mini-site run off blogger - with all the normal blog features and some extras (hidden archives list). Fully XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS compliant (though the blogger nav bar isn't =S).

Daze (Grey)
Code and Image Conversion: mace
Here is a SMF Skin I modified, for use on the LMF Clansite. Based off the Daze Skin by Diplomat. I've also added an extra mouseover script, based off one used on proboards, from Solid Snake Designs.

ice breaker 01
By: mace
A quick blog reskin/redesign, more or less coded from scratch. Whipped up overnight, the design tests out some bits of (JS) code and plays around with various scripts/css elements. The only thing not made from scratch/drawn myself - is the header graphic - Rammstein Fans will surely recognise this as the artwork/photo used on the Rosenrot Cover =) Back to the code itself, full XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS standards compliance.

LMF Clansite
Design/Graphics: Colin
Coding: mace
Our first "job" was this clansite for LMF - a CSS clan run by a friend of ours. A simple, neat, yet fully functional clansite, running off a CMS Made Simple backend. Also included was a setup of Simple Machines Forum (SMF) with a custom theme (Daze Grey) with some extra modifications (rotating header images) to fit the main site theme. Website was compliant with XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS standards. Unfortunately, the site is no longer running, so apart from the code base and various backups of the site I have, that aren't much use in this portfolio page, we have the screenshot on the left of the website template before integration with the CMS software.
We also had a rotating header image system in place, to use different banners specially made by Colin for the Site and Forums.
mace.designs: augment v0
Design/Graphics: Colin
Coding: mace
Our initial and current template for this site, runs off a custom php-based templating system (by mace) for easy management of themes and templates. Though this one is fully compliant with XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS etc, it will probably need a "realignment" to update it to full CSS (instead of tables..).
No need for a link, what you see here is what you get =P

mace*net v4 Splash Page
By: mace
A very simple splash page, with mouseover fading etc. Used a single-cell table hack to center everything, along with some CSS.
mace*net v5 Admin [WIP]
By: mace
Something I was working on a while ago (still incomplete), though it's still a WIP. What is it? A backend management interface for a Content Management System I'm in the process of making - which runs my current website. Not much more to it until I get more done..
mace*net v5 Blog
By: mace
My blog redesign - an extremely simple template based off my site template. Uses the same code base as the v4 template, along with the same javascript functions.

mace*net v5 Site
By: mace
A huge site revamp, a big step ahead of the old v4 one. This version sees the complete shift over to CSS powered sites, rather than tables and frames etc. It also sees the use of a custom Content Management System that I'm working on =P. And so, it's all php driven etc, and fairly customizable, with support for multiple sites and a splash page. Neat eh? But back to the template - it was mainly just to have a functional site that is decent in look and design, and would allow me to further test and refine the code behind it all.

mace*net v5 Splash
By: mace
Compared to the v4 Splash page, this one is equally simplistic (and functional!) in design, but much lighter in look and more appropriate for the main site design. This one is XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS compliant to keep everything up to standard.

mace*net v6 Splash
By: mace
Completed: 1st July 2006
Simple, Light, and Neat. And of course, new, designed for my new website. This one is essentially a visual update upon the Version 5 Splash Page, playing around with shadows and highlights. Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS.

Design/Graphics: Colin
A very awesome site design from Colin, though I (mace) have yet to code it =\
mace's SDD Assignment
Design/Code: mace
Content/Research: Clement, Ray, Robin
A group assignment for Software Design! (Full marks fyi =D). A very simple 2 column layout, just in static html as it was an assignment.. but it allowed me to test out various things like the semi-gradient dividers all over the pages and some other coding/css combos.
Web Awards 2005
Very Awesome Drawing/Graphic: Colin
Content: Robin
Code/Layout: mace
Our entry to the Annual School Web Awards (2005) - though we didn't place anywhere, it was a great effort on our part. The static graphic is overlayed on the design, and doesn't interfere with any of the content etc, thanks to some handy css work.
