mace.designs
What is the purpose of this faq? Colin: To provide information in an easy question answer format. No seriously.
Who and/or what is mace designs? Colin: Basically we're a two man design team. Andrew L(a.k.a. maCe), is the main coder guy and Colin H is the guy who tells Andrew what colour to make things. They will make you things (e.g. satanic pentagrams and/or websites) for a reasonable amount of money.
So sort of things do you actually do? maCe: Anything really, anything html or graphics related, we'll do our best in whatever comes up. Colin can take care of the graphics, and I as you should know by now will do the coding.. more specifically, anything html, css, and maybe even javascript, php and mysql stuff, just make sure you know what you want to do and we'll find a way to do it (if its possible of course :P)
How much do I have to pay you guys? Colin: It all depends really, we're reasonable with money (until we get it) and you are free to negotiate/extort/haggle with us. We tend to base our pay on the job. For example, we might charge $10 (inc. gst) for a simple blog template, whilst we might bleed you $30 for a fully fledged website with a php admin system. We usually don't charge anything over 50 dollars, unless you want us to host and code your very own hl2-steam service or recreate the mona lisa in hypermedia and fractalized xhtml.
How long does a job take? Colin: Again, it really depends. It could take between 2 weeks (including testing and stuff) to a few months, depending on the nature of the job. We like to set ourselves "deadlines" so rest assured, we won't be doing *that* much slacking. If you would like a job to be done before a certain time, you can tell us about it and we'll try to meet it. Sometimes we'll finish weeks before deadline or maybe at 11.59 on the night before. But we do have a life outside Macedesigns, so please take this into consideration before you give us two days to knock up a website for you. If you really need us to finish it in a very short time, we may have to either a) compromise the quality of your website or b) charge you a little bit. Being macedesigns, 100% of the time this occurs (as much as we hate to do it) we'll have to slop you with option b.

What are the XHTML 1.0 and CSS buttons under the menu? maCe: These show that the code behind everything is up to scratch! With any template we make here, including the current one, I do my best to make it compliant with xhtml 1.0 and css standards, and if your unsure of that, click the button and the page will get validated!
